About

The main goal of this project was to provide a fun, quick, daily quiz experience with competitive and social elements. The MVP should be the mix of essential functionalities while maintaining gamification and entertainment elements without unnecessary limitations. The game offers one-minute quiz sessions where all users start simultaneously, ensuring a dynamic and fair experience. Designed primarily for casual players in Kuwait and the Middle East, it taps into the growing popularity of trivia games.

A major challenge was ensuring a smooth gameplay flow, as every second matters in a one-minute quiz. We eliminated unnecessary interactions by designing a multiple-choice system that automatically confirms answers and introduced a Waiting Lobby that opens 10 minutes before the game starts, allowing players to enter automatically without delays. Another challenge was creating a balanced scoring system that rewards accuracy while encouraging fast responses. To solve this, we developed and tested two scoring algorithms, ensuring fair play and engagement while preventing unintended strategies that could disrupt the competitive balance.
